Latest Update Quiz Night - Friday 19th March

Come along for a fun family night to the Robert Owen Centre (Murray Hall). The quiz night will be from 7.30pm till late. Bar available but bring your own snacks. Tickets £5 available from David or Geraldine Finnon, Andy Figgins, Stuart Ross or Deirdre Parkinson.

Annual Membership

Everyone should now have received their membership renewal pack. Renewal is due by March 8th 2010. If you have not yet received your renewal pack, do not intend to rejoin or have any queries please contact Louise Mullins louise.mullins@btinternet.com

Juice/Water Bottles

We have been asked by Hamilton College, not to use water or juice bottles with paper or polythene film round them as this maycome off in and around the pool and block filters or drains.

Fantastic Effort

A big thank you and well done to everyone who took part in the Morrison's Bag Pack on Sat 6th Feb. We raised over 1400 pounds on the day, Great job from all involved!

EK Scoop West District's Top Junior Awards

Ally Stirling and Corrie Scott picked up the Top West District Junior Boy and Girl awards at the recent AGM. Following a string of outstanding performances last year when they both broke Scottish Junior records and represented Great Britain at their respective age levels, the West District Executive awarded them these honours. Congratulations to both swimmers!

Strathaven Training Sessions - Changing rooms

Please note that any clothes left in cubicles may be treated as lost property and be removed by centre staff.

Request for Technical Officials.

The club urgently needs parents to volunteer to timekeep and progress to judging as we can now receive substantial fines of up to £400 per weekend at west district Championships for failure to meet our quota of technical officials. If interested please speak to one of the management committee.

Entry Secretary Required

We would like to appoint an Entry Secretary to liaise with the coaching staff and process the clubs entries for competitions. If you are interested in this post please contact Andy Figgins for an informal chat.

With the closure of the Dollan Aqua Centre, the club no longer has a physical notice board for competition and other announcements. Competition entries will now happen via this website. If you have not yet received your personal log in please contact your coach.
